Purpose of the Advance Exam City Intimation Slip
The UP Super TET Exam City Intimation Slip is a preliminary administrative notice released by UPESSC to inform candidates of the specific district in which their examination centre has been designated, approximately 12 to 14 days before the exam date.
Because over hundreds of thousands of aspirants travel across Uttar Pradesh to appear for the 12,405 posts under Advt. No. 05/2026, releasing the city slip in advance allows candidates to reserve train tickets, arrange bus transit, and plan lodging well before the final admit cards are generated.
The Exam City Slip is an informational transit document only. It does NOT contain your exact school address or roll number and cannot be used to gain entry into the examination centre. You must download the official Super TET Admit Card when released around 24 November 2026.

Home District Policy for Female & PwD Candidates

Male candidates are typically assigned within their administrative commission division.
Candidate Travel & Logistics Advisory
- Book Transit Early: Inter-district trains and state transport (UPSRTC) buses experience heavy passenger volume during state teacher examination weekends. Book your seats as soon as your city slip is verified.
- Plan Day-Before Arrival: If your allocated exam centre is more than 100 kilometers from your residence, plan to arrive in the allotted district on the evening preceding your examination date. Morning traffic congestion or winter fog in December must not cause you to miss the strict 30-minute pre-exam gate closure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I request a change of my allotted examination city?
No. Under UPESSC examination rules, the allotted examination city and centre are generated automatically via algorithm based on district capacity and candidate domicile. No requests for city change are entertained under any circumstances.
What should I do if my city slip shows an error in my name?
The city slip is an informational record pulled directly from your OTR database. If your name appears misspelled, log into your UPESSC OTR account and verify your base profile, and consult our Form Correction Guide.
